Sales Manager
Job Description:
Experienced new/used car Sales Manager required for this franchised dealership, working with a great team of people you will be responsible for the daily operations of the new/used car sales departments.
You will be a born leader, a motivator and be able to inspire your team to achieve fantastic consistent results.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have good organisational skills and a passion for customer service.
You must have the motivation and commitment to achieve great profitability whilst continuing to drive the department and brand forward to exceed manufacturer targets.
Responsibilities:
Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
Appraise trade ins
Purchase Used Car inventory
Establish recommended sales and profit objectives
Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
Stay abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
Attend managers' meetings and training as requested
Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales
Interact with all other Departments to realize customer satisfaction goals
Recruit, hire, manage, and monitor the performance of all vehicle sales employees
Supervise the efforts of salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership
Monitor and analyze salespeople's performances
Assist salespeople closing deals.
Communicate with salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed
Maintain a timely owner follow-up system
Requirements:
Previous used Car Sales Manager experience is required
Previous Domestic Used Car Sales Manager experience is a plus
Capable of Using Technology and Internet for Marketing and Sales
Exceptional appraisal skills
Experience Purchasing Used Vehicles for inventory
Professional appearance and communication skills
Integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic required
Willing to learn
Be a team player
Receptive to new ideas
