Vacancy for a Cartographer at an IT Company

ROLE: CARTOGRAPHER
COMPANY NAME: CONFIDENTIAL

A Lagos based IT Company which chooses to remain anonymous is looking to hire a skilled Cartographer for a 3 months’ contract. Extension of duration is performance based. Kindly find requirement below;
Key Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Strong IT and design skills
• A meticulous and methodical nature
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications/ Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography/Geology/Civil or Structural Engineering or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
• Candidate MUST have the ability to use Map Information, Google Earth and to Create Route Maps.
• An excellent command of English Language, above average IQ will be major considerations in selecting the right candidates.
• A good knowledge of Auto CAD Map 3D, ARCGIS is preferred.
