A vacant challenging job opportunity is available in one of our clients Oil & Gas company in Lagos Nigeria for the position of an Oil & Gas Operations Accountant
PROFICIENCY
· Good knowledge of the operations of the Oil & Gas industry
· Project financing: structures, financial packages and agreements
· Analyzes general economic business, and financial conditions to assess their impact on Company’s policies, operations and profitability
· 5-8years (minimum) experience in the Oil & Gas industry and of which at least 3-7 yrs must be banking related experience
· Experience in Trade and Energy Markets(Very Key)International and Local
· Foreign Exchange Hedging and Risk Management
· Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and sensitive to confidential information
· Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
BSc /HND Accounting (ACA/ACCA ) or its equivalents
OTHER COMPETENCIES & PLAYING SKILLS
Ability to work under pressure and persistence with attention to details
· Team oriented with strong management and interpersonal skills and a proven experience demonstrating mastery of computerized accounting systems, especially SAGE (PEACHTREE); proficiency in Microsoft office word, Excel & Power point
· Good communication skills both oral and written.
· A high degree of accuracy and efficiency
